Therapy for Depression
It’s possible to feel like yourself again. Some signs of depression can include:

- Feeling down, hopeless, irritable, or numb
- Losing enjoyment in activities you once enjoyed
- Feeling tired and lacking energy
- Changes in your appetite that are out of the ordinary for you
- Having trouble concentrating or remembering
- Difficulty maintaining your usual hygiene routine
- Not wanting to wake up in the morning, or thinking about ending your life
My Approach

Society tells us that if we don’t have any tangible “reasons” to feel sad, then our sadness is invalid. But depression goes far beyond that. It can cause you to not recognize yourself anymore, and impact your ability to get enjoyment out of most (or all) things that previously brought you joy.
My approach includes mindfulness, grounding, CBT, ACT, and somatic techniques to help you recognize your dark thoughts, find the tools to manage them, and weather this storm. While I value you feeling seen and heard, I will also empower you with the tools you need so you can walk away from your session feeling prepared to take on the week ahead.
